SEO services that cover every pillar of search.
On-page, off-page, technical and content, delivered by one in-house team of 10 so the pillars pull together. The map shows where each of our SEO services sits, the guide below points you to the one to start with, and a free audit confirms it.
What SEO services does an agency offer?
Good SEO services come down to four pillars: on-page optimisation, off-page authority, technical health and content, plus specialisms like local, ecommerce and consulting that apply those pillars to one situation. A campaign that does only one or two of them stalls, so Boltly covers all four in-house.
On-page & technical
The site itself: titles, structure and internal links, plus the crawl, speed and schema that let search engines read it.
Content
The pages and articles that target what your customers actually search for, and give the other pillars something to rank.
Off-page & authority
The links, local signals and reputation that tell Google your site is trusted enough to rank near the top.
The pillars only work together, so this page shows how the services fit rather than listing them. Nobody buys "content" or "links" on their own. You're buying more enquiries, and that takes several pillars in the right order. Use the map and the guide to find the service that leads, then read its own page.
Every ranking rests on four pillars.
Every ranking rests on four kinds of work: on-page, off-page, technical and content. Most SEO services are one of these pillars applied to a situation, and strong work on three can't make up for a weak fourth. Select a pillar to see what it includes and which Boltly services lead on it.
On-page SEO
Everything on your own pages: titles and headings, content quality, internal links and page structure. It tells Google what a page is about, and it's usually the fastest pillar to improve because you control all of it.
The weakest pillar sets the ceiling. Brilliant content on a site Google can't crawl won't rank, and a technically perfect site with nothing worth reading has nothing to rank. Most stuck campaigns are lopsided: budget poured into one pillar while another holds everything back. That's why the first step is usually an audit that finds the weak one.
Which SEO service do you need first?
Answer two questions and we'll point you to the service to lead with, plus the order the others usually follow. The free audit then checks that against your actual site.
A local business wins in the Map Pack and near-me search, so local SEO is the fastest path to calls and enquiries from nearby customers.
Two questions can't see your site the way an audit can. It can't spot the crawl fault, the content gap or the competitor advantage that changes the plan, so let a free audit confirm what your site needs and in what order.

Two quotes for "SEO services" rarely describe the same work.
Owners collecting quotes often find one agency asking a few hundred dollars a month and another asking several thousand, both calling it SEO. The label tells you nothing. These three checks work on any quote, ours included, and each takes under an hour.
Line up the work, not the package names
Ask every agency to write down what happens in month one and month three: which pages get changed, which new pages get written, which technical faults get fixed, how links will be earned, and who on their team does each task. Put the answers side by side. A cheap quote that cannot name the work is usually cheap because less work happens. Our own plans are published at $500, $900 and $1,500 a month with the work listed under each.
Check people search for what you sell before paying anyone
If your site is live, open Search Console's Performance report and look at the queries you already show up for and how many impressions they get. If you are starting out, Google's Keyword Planner gives search estimates for the words customers would use. If very few people search for your service in your area, organic SEO may not be the best first spend; a well-kept Business Profile or a small ads test can tell you more, faster.
Agree who owns the accounts before anyone logs in
Your Google Business Profile, Analytics, Search Console, domain and website admin should sit in your business's name, with the agency added as a manager or user. Google's own advice on hiring an SEO says to give read access to Search Console only while someone is auditing your site. For a .au domain, the auDA WHOIS lookup shows who holds the licence; it should be you.
How the services combine over 12 months.
In a typical first year, audit and technical fixes fill the first four months, on-page and local work starts in month two, content runs from about month four and links build from month five. The last quarter goes on doubling down. Work done out of order pays for effort that can't land yet.
Illustrative sequencing. The audit sets the real timing for your site and market.
The most common waste in SEO is the right work in the wrong order: chasing links to a site Google can't crawl yet, or scaling content before the technical base can carry it. So the ribbon front-loads audit and technical work. Content then runs as a steady cadence rather than a burst, and links follow once there are pages good enough to earn them.
Every pillar, one in-house team.
The four pillars stay coordinated when one team owns them, so our 10-person team does all of it in-house. When content goes to one contractor and links to another, nobody sees the whole campaign.
- One team answers for the whole result.
- The technical, content and link work agree with each other.
- Decisions don't wait on a chain of contractors who never speak.
One line of accountability. The people planning the work are the people doing it.
Every handoff loses context, and no one owns the whole outcome.
In-house is also simpler for you. Instead of managing a content agency, a link vendor and a developer who blame each other when rankings stall, you deal with one team across all your SEO services. When something needs to change, the person who plans it can act on it that week, instead of briefing a chain of contractors and waiting for the message to come back.
Technical fixes first, then pages for each practice area, then links earned to those pages. Measured on enquiries.
An audit of crawl waste, a technical clean-up, then category content. Measured on category rankings and sales.
Business Profile and on-page work first, then a review routine. Measured on calls from the main suburbs.
Three example plans, and what each is measured on.
Each plan runs three or four services in order and is judged on one outcome: enquiries, rankings and sales, or calls. They're illustrations rather than client results. For real numbers, read our case studies.
A store ranks when an audit finds the crawl waste, technical work fixes it, category content targets the right terms and links earn the authority to hold the position. Start with a free audit or the guide above and we'll scope the mix your site needs.
SEO services, answered.
It depends on your business, but almost every campaign needs the same four pillars: on-page, off-page, technical and content. Where you start differs: a local business usually leads with local SEO, an online store with ecommerce SEO, and a site with technical problems with an audit first. Our decision guide on this page recommends a starting point, and a free audit confirms it.
SEO services cover the work that helps your site rank: a technical foundation, on-page optimisation, content, links and authority, and reporting, plus specialisms like local or ecommerce. Boltly delivers all of it in-house rather than outsourcing, and every package lists the work behind the price so you can see exactly what your SEO services include each month. See our pricing.
On-page SEO is everything on your own site: titles, headings, content, internal links and structure. Off-page SEO is everything that happens elsewhere and builds authority, mainly links from other sites, plus local signals like citations and reviews. Both matter: a strong page still needs authority to rank, and authority is wasted on a weak page.
Technical SEO is the work that helps search engines crawl, render and index your site: site speed, crawlability, structured data, a clean URL structure and mobile performance. It is the foundation the other pillars sit on, because content and links cannot rank a page that Google struggles to access, which is why we usually fix the technical base early. See technical SEO.
If you serve customers in a specific area, from a shopfront or a service van, you need local SEO, which targets the Map Pack and near-me search. If you sell online or serve the whole country, you need national or ecommerce SEO focused on organic rankings. Many businesses need both, and we scope the mix to where your customers actually search. See local SEO.
Boltly SEO services start from $500 a month for a focused local campaign, and scale with competition and the work your site needs. Plans are $500, $900 or $1,500 a month. We publish real prices and quote in writing after a free audit, so the price reflects the actual scope. See our packages and pricing.
Real SEO work leaves a trail you can check yourself. Ask for a monthly log that lists the URLs changed or published, the technical fixes made and any links earned, with the linking page so you can visit it. Then compare it with what you can see: new pages in your sitemap, edited pages, and Search Console impressions and clicks over three to six months. A report that only shows ranking screenshots, the same template every month, is a sign to ask harder questions.
We work across all the major platforms, with dedicated services for WordPress, Shopify and WooCommerce, plus experience on Magento, BigCommerce and custom builds. The platform rarely decides whether a site ranks; the architecture, content and technical work behind it do, so we tune the same method to whatever your store or site runs on.
Yes. Technical, content, links and local work are all done by our own 10-person team, with nothing outsourced. That's how the four pillars stay coordinated: the people deciding how they fit are the people doing the work.
