Case studies

SEO case studies from five real clients

These are the only results we publish: five businesses we work with, the work we did for each and what happened next. A Sydney sleep consultant, an office pod maker, a Liverpool clinic, a Central Coast builder and an Adelaide pest technician.

Every number is labelled with where it came from. Some are counted by our tracker or by Google, two are the client's own count, and we say which is which.

Baby and toddler sleep consulting, Sydney

SleepBaker

Anna Baker helps tired families get their babies sleeping. Her site was quiet in Google: from April to July 2026 it was getting single-digit clicks on most days.

We rebuilt the website, mapped every topic parents search before writing a page (settling, naps, regressions, ages and stages), wrote each guide around the questions parents ask, then built links from relevant sites. Clicks and impressions stepped up a few days after the new site went live in late July and kept climbing into October.

Flat-pack glass office pods, delivered Australia-wide

Portable Pods

Six months after launch, the Portable Pods site had almost no visitors and no leads. A pod is a big purchase, and buyers research hard before they ask for a quote. The old site didn't answer their questions.

We redesigned it as 45 pages. Specifications, pricing, delivery and customisation each got a page, so did every use (home office, backyard studio, site office), plus pages for the major cities it delivers to. In the 30 days we measured, 4.7% of visitors sent an enquiry.

Appointment-only wellness clinic, Liverpool, Sydney

Clutter Clearing Colonics

A small clinic lives on people nearby finding it. When we started in May 2026, both of its front doors were quiet: Search Console showed almost no clicks, and the Google Business Profile was getting a few calls a month.

We worked on the website's SEO and the profile at the same time. Four months in, the two together bring the clinic more than 30 leads a month. The website alone picked up 759 search clicks between May and October.

Builder and electrician, Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter NSW

Belvedere Building and Electrical

Belvedere is a family business: a licensed builder and a licensed electrician working as one team. Building searches on the Central Coast are crowded with project-home companies, quote sites and directories, and a family builder can't outspend them.

So for 3 years the brief has been to be the most useful result for the jobs it does in the places it works: a service page for each trade and area, real project pages, and a homepage rebuilt in 2026. Calls and emails more than doubled on the previous 30 days.

Pest control and possum proofing, Adelaide

Symes SA

Symes SA is a family-owned Adelaide business run by one licensed technician, Edward Symes. It covers pest control, possum removal and bird proofing under solar panels, so its site had to rank for very different jobs.

Before writing a word we built a 61-page topical map: every service, problem and suburb, each page with one job. The new site launched in September. In its first 30 days it brought in 46 enquiries from organic search, and 26 of them were phone calls.

Where each number comes from

Each figure comes from one of four places, and the coloured tag beside it tells you which. We'd rather show a smaller number we can prove than a bigger one we can't.

Boltly Tracker
Our own tracking on the client's website. It counts form enquiries plus phone and email clicks, whatever brought the visitor.
Search Console
Google's report of how often a site appeared in search and how many people clicked. It doesn't count bookings.
Business Profile
Google Business Profile performance, which records calls made straight from the profile in Maps and local results.
Client-reported
The client's own count of enquiries from every channel. We can't audit it, so we label it.

What they share

What the five results have in common

We count leads, not rankings. A page in position three that never makes the phone ring hasn't done its job.How we judge our own work

Each one started with a plan for the whole subject before any writing. For Symes SA that was 61 pages, for Portable Pods 45. Pages that answer a buyer's real questions get found, and they turn visitors into enquiries.

Speed is the part that varies most. A new site in a less crowded niche can move within a month; a builder in a busy market is a slower, steadier climb. The strip below shows how long each of these took, so you can set expectations for your own business before you talk to us. Plans start at $500 a month, and our pricing page lists what each one includes.

  1. Symes SA46 enquiries in the first 30 days after launch.
  2. SleepBakerSearch lines turned up within days of the new site going live.

  4. Clutter Clearing Colonics30+ leads a month, four months after we started.
  5. Belvedere27 leads in 30 days, three years into steady work.

How do you measure the results in these case studies?

We count leads first: form enquiries, phone clicks and email clicks from the website, recorded by Boltly Tracker. Google Search Console supplies clicks and impressions, and Google Business Profile performance supplies calls made from the profile. Every figure on this page names its source and its dates.

Which numbers are client-reported and which are tracked?

Two are client-reported: SleepBaker's 15+ enquiries a week and Clutter Clearing Colonics' 30+ leads a month, which are the clients' own counts. The lead figures for Portable Pods, Belvedere and Symes SA come from Boltly Tracker, and the click, impression and profile call figures come straight from Google's own reports.

How long did these results take?

It varied. Symes SA had 46 enquiries in the first 30 days after its new site launched. Clutter Clearing Colonics reached 30+ leads a month about four months after we started. Belvedere has been a client for 3 years, and its 27 leads in 30 days is where that steady work has landed.

Are these results typical?

Results vary, and we won't pretend otherwise. These are five real clients, not an average of every account. Your market, your competition and the state of your site when we start all change the outcome, which is why we begin with an audit before quoting.

Can I see the full data behind each result?

Yes. Each case study page has the original Search Console, Boltly Tracker or Google Business Profile screenshots, with the date range written under each one.

How do I get a free SEO audit?

Fill in the form on our free SEO audit page with your website and the searches you care about. We review the site and send back the findings and a written quote. There is no charge and no obligation.

How much does SEO with Boltly cost?

Plans start at $500 a month (Starter), with Growth at $900 and Performance at $1,500. There is no setup fee, and the pricing page lists what each plan includes.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Every plan runs month to month. Belvedere has worked with us on that basis for 3 years.
